THE AMERICAN MUSEUM OF
NATURAL HISTORY
Inspired by the Insectarium at the museum’s Richard Gilder Center, this collaborative window display was installed from April 13 to April 17. A central mannequin styled as a jeweled queen beetle is surrounded by wall and ceiling elements that echo the Insectarium’s organic shapes. The display uses strategic lighting to highlight the beetle's iridescent colors, creating an immersive experience. It celebrates insect diversity and underscores the museum’s commitment to exploration, offering a visual tribute to Earth’s insect ecosystems.
